Kansas Basketball is considered one of the greatest traditions on campus, and Allen Fieldhouse is considered one of best venues in the sport. In 2006, the Booth Family Hall of Athletics opened on the east side of the Fieldhouse. It houses a hall of fame for all KU athletics and covers KU athletics history in a series of displays.KU has 12 scholarship halls: two co-ed halls, six women's halls, and four men's halls. Rooms are selected by the students in a process determined by each hall. There are no single rooms in any scholarship hall. Each scholarship hall houses a community of about 50 people.
