John deere 24t baler problems
Jun 28, 2016 · Troubles with John Deere 24T baler with model 30 kicker. Baled many years with our baler & never had any issues with the kicker till this year. Every time we have baled this year it will kick every bale the first 150 or so then will only kick one every so often unless you manually trip the kicker. We replaced the control valve & it still does ... There's a photo in my JD book showing a JD-2010 pulling a 14-T that has a No. 1 bale ejector attached that's tossing bales into a fairly large hay wagon (with sides that look to be about 8-ft hgh) that's also being towed by the 2010. The 346 is a fairly high capacity baler and should be able to take a lot of hay. You should get a genuine JD shear bolt.... or several, don't use a normal bolt.

There is a shear pin in the rod that connects the needles and the clutch.What you described is what happens when this pin breaks.I ran out of pins so started using drywall nails.
