Kaleidoscope is by far the best. Morningstar may have higher base damage, but remember both its range and its speed suck absolute balls and that Kaleidoscope has twice as effective tag bonuses. Dark Harvest has an interesting ability but its damage is a lot lower so you're probably better off using the Kaleidoscope. 5.Having a whip makes it so you can still deal some DPS even when the summon AI fails you. I know Calamity summoner is balanced around NOT using a weapon during summons, so there might need to be a flat reduction to summon damage to account for whips, but overall I think the Calamity devs are very creative and could make some amazing whip designs.
