KS-47 Upper Receivers available. It looks like stripped upper receivers are available now. Let’s hope this means other parts will soon be available. thats awesome… but unfortunately im not ready to build an ks47 yet… other things have taken priority. I just noticed that most of the uppers that are displayed on the KS-47 page are new ...The KS47 lets the AK shooter capitalize on his inventory of magazines and ammo with an AR-style platform. Unlike the AK, where the barrel is permanently pressed into the receiver, the KS47 features an AR-style modular configuration which consists of a barreled upper receiver, and a lower receiver that houses the fire control group and magazine.

The ARAK-21 upper receiver, like other standard AR upper receivers, will not work with the PSA KS47 lower receiver without modification of the upper receiver, bolt carrier, and bolt. The work is best done by a gunsmith or machinist.
Received the KS47 lower yesterday, upper is supposed to arrive Friday. Bought 5 20rd Magpul MOE cheap mags for it and 100rds of ammo. Holosun HS503GU is ready to be mounted. I need to see how the hangduard is, but may replace it. If the factory LW MLOK FF is decent, I will leave it alone. Posted: 2/21/2019 12:07:28 PM EDT ...Not sure I understood your question correctly, but I swapped my Gen 2 KS47 upper with bolt and carrier on to a standard AR lower and while the KS47 upper has a cut out for the standard BHO paddle, an ASC x39 mag wouldn’t lock into the magwell. clf stocktwits I don’t think the upper is an issue. I’ve built a 74 with a mil spec upper. Pmags sucked as far as being reliable feeding in a milspec lower. Best 3-4 rds before a jamb. I ended up sticking with the KS47 because I like the feel of the everyday run of the mill upper that has both traditional charging and forward assist.
