Moonveil does best with heavy investment into INT. Because of that you can also use Sorcery as utility or primary means of damage in some situations. str scaling doesn't get above E, so it's not great Moonveil has more range on it's specials compared to Uchigatana with it's standard Unsheath, but also costs more FP. Overall both weapons are great tbh. Despite all the hate that Moonveil gets, regular Uchigatana is basically on par with it. You need to have dedicated build for it to be good. Compared to all katanas that require some IntelligenMoonveil is a great Katana, huge stagger potential with its weapon Moonveil is busted to the point of trivializing half of the game, if that sounds fun to you then go for it, otherwise you can infuse uchi with the blood slash ash and put points into arcane for a very strong almost game breaking bleed build.
