With Feeding Frenzy rolling you can reload almost instantly per kill to start Voltshot. It triggers both subclass abilities AND weapon perks, like incandescent. It also is far faster to proc: reload, shoot, kill. Incandescent requires you to kill, kill, kill, kill; several add kills to clear the whole group.
