It is called Visakha Puja in Thailand, but Vesak or Wesak in Sri Lanka. However these terms describe the same event.Visakha Bucha occurs on the 15th day of the waxing moon in the 6th lunar month, 8th month on the Lanna calendar, each year that Visakha Puja is celebrated.
