For reference, when I first started I had roughly %30 progress and finished with 46 cold fusion medals. I almost never used fusions in crucible so I'd say I had less then 5 total beforehand. If I had to estimate I'd say it's %1.5-2 per medal. Grandmaster Strikes are generally considered amongst the most difficult activities in Destiny 2. Played 20 rift matches and got about 10-12 drops. 20th rift match gave me perp motion/kill clip. I have the crucible prosperity mod on too. This really goes for any perk that has a non-crit damage component. Explosive payload/gutshot is also a very nice option for Taraxippos for a free +15% damage in pve without having to do any extra work.
