Would I be safe just using UWorld then? (Honestly, the fact that you get an Adaptibar alternative for free is definitely a major consideration for why I am leaning towards Themis.) I totally get that preparing for the bar exam is not something you should be cheap about but I thought I'd ask.Thing also to keep in mind is how good are their explanations. Seems like both offer trials. I would see which you like better. I used both and found Adaptibar explanations to be better written and understood, plus you get the adaptive technology with it. Some of the Barmax explanations are lacking, and sometimes, you do not get explanations ...A look at the BoardVitals NCLEX program dashboard. They didn’t really advertise this IMO. Most are licensed NCBE questions and some are written by UWorld. It doesn’t have the adaptive features of Adaptibar but the explanations are great.Uworld vs adaptibar . I’m tired, apologies if I misspelled the company name. I am very much a visual learner. My scores increased a bit without uworld. And I need to keep making improvements to hopefully improve 4-5 points to pass. There are a lot of MBE® supplements to choose from these days. However, two MBE prep courses top the list: UWorld Legal's MBE QBank and Adaptibar's MBE Simulator. Find out why the UWorld MBE ... UWorld has better overall questions and explanations, Adaptibar has better lectures. All the bar companies also include the NCBE released now (all meaning Kaplan, Themis, and Barbri), so I would play with the free versions of both and see which works better for you. It’s a great product. As for preference, I like UWorld better and find their visuals, answer explanations, and product generally better. Adaptibar has some side options that can be helpful though, and you’d be fine with either/or. UWorld comes included with Themis, so keep that on your radar. KarmaVisitsOnTuesday • 9 mo. ago. After debating between UWorld and Adaptibar, went with UWorld (mostly based on y'alls advice.) I started using it yesterday and I have enjoyed it so far. However, I was wondering if those of you who have used it successfully can give me any general advice/tips - for example, how you used the flashcard feature, the notebook feature, etc. Really ...I also noticed that some of the old questions in Adaptibar were not updated to the current NCBE format. With the new flashcard feature that UWorld launched, it's a great value. I don't think you can go wrong with Adaptibar but I think from a value perspective it is hard to beat UWorld.AdaptiBar lets you purchase add-on lectures, which people have found helpful. As for preference, I like UWorld better and find their visuals, answer explanations, and product generally better. Adaptibar has some side options that can be helpful though, and you’d be fine with either/or. UWorld comes included with Themis, so keep that on your radar. KarmaVisitsOnTuesday • 9 mo. ago. So I’ve used Adaptibar in the past and much prefer them. I’ve also used UWorld. I have never used BarMax. What I don’t like about UWorld is that I can’t print out the explanations after taking a practice exam. I’m not doing the whole screenshot in pieces and waste a ton of ink. I want to be able to print things out so I can mark them up, flag them, flip Daily Adaptibar questions, putting all your wrong Adaptibar questions into notecards, and watching every grossman video over and over and over = you should be set. I had grossman videos playing anytime I went for a walk, was driving and while I laid in bed getting ready to fall asleep. It looks like both are comparable and I took UWorld's free trial and LOVE the explanations and I can save about $150 (including discount). My only question is if Adaptibar's adaptive technology makes a difference. Is it worth the additional money. I need some help to make a decision.

I’m a retaker. I watched all adaptibar videos and took notes. I did about 1500 questions (I did almost 2000 between Themis/adaptibar when I failed in October). But this time I really focused on quality and diagnosing the questions. My overall average was 64.3%, but the two weeks prior to the exam I was ranging from 70-80%.Mobile App Both UWorld and Adaptibar are mobile-friendly, with each having a mobile app available for both iOS and Android, allowing you to study anywhere, on any device. Never used Adaptibar, but many swear by it. However, I used UWorld exclusively for MBE prep and second what others are saying about the style of questions you’ll see and their explanations—second to none. I only used Themis for essay practice (free as a second time taker). Studicata has 250 off. So 1,247. DentistAlone • 2 yr. ago. I took the July bar exam an used Studicata. It’s great for essay writing but you need another source for MBE questions like U world or Adaptibar. I used U world because I liked their explanations better than Adaptibar. I also had access to Barbri.

I have used both UWorld and Adaptibar. If you have Themis, you don't need Adaptibar. I agree with some of the other comments, UWorld is on par with Adaptibar. Personally I like the UWorld explanations way better. The other thing I like about UWorld is they tell you how old the licensed questions are and update them to the current format.
