I have a 2016 so I don't have the built-in wireless update. I would need to go to GM for an update.I have a 2003 Sierra 5.3L Automatic Z71 with 174K miles. The other day I went to start it up (it was already warmed up) and I noticed my radio, AC, door locks, windows, and all right gauges not working, nor the drive selection or 4WD light. Through my purchase process I test drove the 2014 Silverado as well and while driving it noticed that the radio home screens are customization in terms of icon order and layout as well as themes. My GMC does not have this feature.The DIC controls on my steering wheel aren't working. The radio and OnStar buttons at the top spokes do work. (Alpine HU, OnStar disabled).
