I noticed my front diff breathers appear to be leaking. I last changed the fluid 20k miles ago, and this is the first time it's leaked. I was reading on this and it sounds like it can be caused by overfilling, or water contamination. Leaking fluid from the front axle is most probably coming from the diff seals. To change the seals in there you have to remove the diff from the housing. I have never done this, but the service manual mentiones a tool which stretches the housing a bit. Not sure if it can be done without this tool.
