Basically anything a union wants to do is only legal with some kind of labor board approval. If I, an employee of a union, were to organize a strike of workers who I did not legally represent, and I hadn't caught the company violating labor law (and filed a charge to that effect with the board) the company could sue the union for its losses during the strike.The organizers need to take the time to gather and calmly plan the message, strategy, and actions to be taken.
