I copied the same bin file into the usb drive and I renamed the copied version to "M-T7700CCAA-1004.2 [08C6].bin". The 08C6 was what the regular G7 model's firmware ended in so I think it's expecting that. Luckily their Korean site has the latest firmware and it's pretty easy to update, Just format a USB stick with FAT32, Also has to be MBR if memory serves, Stick it on there and put it in the service port but it annoys me that they don't even have the decency to supply it on their UK or US sites and even on their Korean site they don't say what it does.

The faker newest firmware is 1003. It is different from the regular g7. Same performance I imagine just a different product number so different file. someonesshadow • 2 yr. ago.
