Near the end of the grind, I switched my strategy to mainly running overcharged/strong cells in between portal spawns and I saw rates go up to 54k/hr and 8-9 points per game. I really liked that method because it made losses extremely rare. Also you get crafting xp and rc xp if you use your charged cells to make guardians but if you use them on the barriers you get more rc xp and no crafting xp.
