No offense to Springfield owners, but i don’t think this is much of a competition. Glock absolutely dunks on the XD. I’ve shot the XD plenty of times and it’s by no means a bad gun, but I don’t think I would ever buy one when a G17/19 is only an extra $100. If reliability and longevity are your measurement there's no way to say an XD is superior.
