It cranks and cranks and eventually it starts but the check engine light comes on. I will shut it off and restart it and it works fine until the next time I want to start it. I recently changed the oil, air filter and spark plugs, but nothing changed.

If so then the solenoid is bad. Or measure the voltage at the starter with the start button engaged. Should read battery voltage. Sakokid. Repeated clicking while trying to start is usually an issue with amps getting to the starter. Only a few things that typically is: bad battery, poorly connected leads (cables), or the solenoid. I put it in gear (H) and it wont move. The Engine Light comes on. Any ideas on what could be the problem. Also check under the seat on drivers side take out storage and look at ur little box make sure it's connected good. Checked the Battery and it had a weak cell so I replaced it. Checked the COIL and the primary side was OK, but the secondary showed 0 ohms. I replaced it. Checked the CPS and it is clean and checked out to 1000 ohms. Checked all FUSES, They are OK. Checked and cleaned the main GROUND POST. OK.
